SENIORS

Please remember your application and TRANSCRIPT DEADLINES. Guidance needs AT LEAST ONE WEEK to PREPARE & MAIL transcripts during this time of year. We will be unable to prepare transcripts from DEC. 20TH thru JAN. 4TH … so if you need one during that time you must request it prior to Dec. 20th.

Lunch is determined by the location of the afternoon test

Students who do not have an afternoon exam MUST provide notes from their parents giving permission to leave school.  Notes MUST be given to the A.M. exam teacher.  Exception:  Dec 14 notes must be given to the 4th period teacher.

Is a FREE service that enables students to file their finanial aid applications electronically before the deadlines. Students planning to attend should complete their federal tax returns prior to FAFSA Day.

Youth for Understanding International Exchange Program

Reflections 2001-2002    

" I hold in my hand . . ." is the theme for the 2001-2002 Reflections contest.

The contest, which is sponsored by National PTA, will have school, district, state and national level competition winners. Now is the time to begin thinking about your entry in either, original work of literature, musical composition, visual arts or photography. Entry forms will be available from Student Services, English, art, music and photography teachers. Deadline will be in early January 2002.

 

 

 

 

NC School of Science & Math

Interested students need to take the SAT in Oct, Nov, Dec. or Jan.of their sophomore year in order to be considered for admissions. SAT results from other years will not be accepted. DEADLINE: Jan 15th

. . . this is a college prep program through Winston-Salem State University geared towards motivating students to pursue a post-secondary education.  This is a year round program.  See Mrs. Amos for application.

 

DEMON PROUD

. . .to provide enrichment and promote high achievement among African-American students in the areas of Math & Science.  You must be in higher level math and science classes to participate.  ALL Saturday sessions are from 12:00 - 1:30 in the RJR Media Center.  Lunch is provided for you.
